I woke up this morning, dressed and was about to feed breakfast to the hens. Suddenly I saw a whole view of ice!!!!!!!!                                                                    The lawn was white and covered in frost. The roof was white with frost.           The last thing I saw was the hens: drinking fountain was completely covered in ice.                                                                                                                                             The whole piece of ice was  very thick. It was about 6 cm long and 10 cm WIDE.  It was amazing.

 

 

 

今朝おきて、着替えて、にわとりちゃんたちに朝ごはんをあげようとした。

なんと、外が一面ずーと凍ってる。霜っていう感じかな。

すごく寒いわけだ。なんと、にわとりちゃんたちの飲み水まで氷になってる。

四角い入れ物だけど６センチｘ１０センチくらいの大きさ。びーっくり。

One afternoon my mother was cleaning the window when suddenly I heard            ” Ahhh”  as she screamed.

I dashed out to the window that she was wiping and cleaning. It was  a little bug. She nearly stood on it.  This bug was supposed to have four normal legs and two long ones but one was missing. I think it was taken off.  It was soooo cute.              I put it into a little glass jug.  It did not sing at all so I let it go outside.  I think it may have been a cricket or a weta, because it looked like a light brownish colour.

 

 

ある日おかあさんが、「まーっ、珍しい！」というので、飛んで見に行った。おかあさんがそうじしているところに、おもしろい小ちゃい虫がいた。その虫はほんとは4本の足と2本の長い足があるはずなんだけど、１本がなかった。でもすごくかわいい虫だった。

それでそれをガラスのびんにいれてみた。歌をうたうかと思っていたんだけど、歌わなかったので、外に逃がしてあげた。もしかしたら、こおろぎかな。そんな感じの茶色だったから。
