Every year in spring most parks and footpaths there are lots of Sakura trees planted and when it blooms it looks very beautiful!

I have took some pictures this year, but there is one problem……

Right now COVID19 is spreading and we were told to not go out, but most people we doing, enkai, Hanami.

Hanami is we watch and have picnic under the Sakura trees.

Oh my, when I passed by there were lots of people having a picnic. Because of that more people have got infected from the virus. Yesterday it was only 17 people but today it has increased to 47 people! Now I thought back and that day

people thought this virus very light and did not think important.

I have never heard and met this but hope it will be gone and all people be healthy. I think normal daily life was how important.

I really hope it will cool down soon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

日本人はお花見が大好き。だって桜の季節は桜が満開でとってもきれい！！

だけど今年は外出の制限がでて、人はまばら。とはいえ、今思えば、あのときにわりと、軽く考えて、外出していた人たちが多かったんじゃないかなあ。

ボクは自転車で、音楽のレッスンに行ったけど、花見、お弁当、ピクニック、の人もいた。

こんなウィルスのこと、きいたことないし、日々のふつうのくらしが、どんなに大切か分かった感じがする。

早くすぎて、みんな健康でいてほしいなあ！

It has been a month or now since the corona virus has spread from China.Now it has spread all over the world!! I cannot believe that is is a really dangerous and very difficult to cover or protect this virus.

Right now in Tokyo, all pharmacy’s and supermarkets are getting a very good service, because all masks are sold out!! Also, just about a week ago most toilet paper and tissues are sold out, Japanese natto,(which is fermented soybeans, natto smells awful but tastes very delicious.) milk , bread, and eggs.

I think people consider about the immune system stronger and buy those too much. They work for people who have hay fever too.

I hope those things will come back in stock soon but I’m afraid that everyone will buy lots of groceries and try to stay home as much as possible. About staying home I’m not very happy about it right now, because I like to go out allot and recently karaoke boxes and concerts are ALL CLOSED!!  Even we practice for playing the instrument such as cornet or violin, we use Karaoke box because all municipal centers closed.  I want to go out so I really hope that the corona virus will go away soon and wonder what is the solution.

 

 

 

 

 

 

コロナの影響で、外出があまりできなくて困っちゃった！東京では、トイレットペーパーやお米、納豆まで売り切れでびっくりだ。

納豆はなんでかな、発酵食品なんだけど、きっと免疫を強くして病気への抵抗力のためにみんな買ったんだろう。花粉症にもいいらしいしね。

でもボクは、外へ出たりするのが好きだから、できないとなると困るー！

カラオケボックスやコンサートも閉まっている。カラオケはするんじゃなくても楽器の練習したりするのに、よかったのに。だって市民センターとかみーんな閉まっているからね。

早くよくなって、コロナもなくなってほしいな！それと原因もちゃんとわかりたい。

Today we went to a larger modern Hospital in the center of Tokyo. Luckily I went with a friend so I did not get lost on the way, also we only have to transfer the train line only twice and a while later we arrived at our destination safely. The hospital was reformed and the sliding doors and that all looked brand new it had nine floors in this building and it also had a coffee cafe. We sang for the patients. We sang “You raise me up”, and lots of other songs too. About fourteen of us attended singing and sang for about an hour so I almost ran out of breadth. I was surprised to see the hospitals reality too, I also enjoyed the view to make the patients smile and I hope they really did. Guess what on the way back suddenly it started to rain very heavily, and storms started to roar with thunder and it was a nightmare I even did not have an umbrella so instead we caught the bus on the way home. I was soaking cold and wet when we got home.

 

 

 

大学病院で、チャリティーコンサートをしました。近代的でとっても進んだ施設、広々としたロビー、エスカレーター、車いすでも通れる廊下、など。何曲か歌って、そのあともたくさん歌って、息がきれそうでした。患者さんたちが見にきてくれて、みんなも手拍子をうったり、歌ったり、笑顔だったので、喜んでくれたと思います。

帰りはなんと、天気ががらっとかわり、黒雲から、大雨、稲光と嵐になってしまい、歩きと電車でなく、バスにのって帰りました。でもうちについたら寒くてずぶぬれで、さんざんだったけど。でもいいコンサートだった。

 

 

 

 

A few weeks ago my mum applied a Science experience day.
About a few days and a week later got an lucky reply saying we could go. { luckily it is a 2 days program }
It was a very far University, but I was jumping up and down with excitement and joy.
Today we walked, rode on the train and transfered to a different train line a few times though!!
When we arrived the University was filled with many experiment rooms and I was delighted to see many of tools and screws I have never seen before.
We were in room A-202 we experimented a measurement of light and its speed.
The people was mostly boys and few girls, we were able to freely measure the speed using an machine called an “Oscilloscope.”
We got in pairs, but unfortunately the boy I got inparied with was not friendly, sort of selfish, shy both mixed in type.
I asked lots of questions to the teacher too.
There were stands were we have to stand the stand into the right angle so the prisms can go through the stand and can look through a lens.
I was able to see the light and how fast it went through the Oscilloscope.
At the end of the day I started to want to go to the University the because the teachers are very lovely, caring and very straight-forward with thoughtfulness.
Unfortunately as I hear rumors the exam is very difficult and it is very hard to get in, also it is a public school which is wonderful.
I really wanted to enroll but it I may have to be very smart.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

科学のコースに応募したら、行けることになった。中学生向けのテーマで

何人かの中学生が各中学校から、しかも大学で何かの実験したり講義がきけるんだって。ワクワクしながら、行く道を見ると、なんて遠い！電車2本とバスで

うちから1時間半はかかる。でも楽しみで、行ってみると、大学内を歩いている学生は男子のほうが女子より少し多かった。講義は初めての内容だったけど

速さと光のことで、オシロスコープを触って、スイッチをいれたり、波と光を

調整してみたり、すごくおもしろかった。

その大学にはいりたくなっちゃったけど、相当勉強家でないと難しそうだ。

 

 

I went to different restaurants with my family.                                                     There are drink bars there.
The have many varieties and different machines.
Some have coffee machines and one of them dose not.
The one that I was very interested in was called macha latte.
It was green tea latte whipped with macha powder on top.
Also they were served hot or cold.
They have sizes and different colors of cups.

家族で日本のレストランにいくつか行ってみた。ドリンクバーというのがあって、ジュースやお茶を好きなだけ飲んでいいからうれしい。さらに見ると、ジュースの機械がお店によってちょっと違っていて、最新のは、タッチスクリーンでメニューを選ぶと、同じ注ぎ口からいろいろな飲み物が出てくる。まっちゃラテという、お茶のホイップがドリンクでちょっとあまくておいしい。

日本のレストランはこういうものもあってすごいし、いいね。

 

 

 

At lunch times in Japan is a little different.

In different prefectures we have to bring lunch boxes or have a classroom cafeteria/canteen.
In 23 wards in Tokyo have classroom cafeteria/canteens.
How it works is we have a roster for delivering the trolley and for serving.                  ( obviously we take turns.)
How we eat is we turn our desks into 6 people,like 6 desks horizon and 6 desks across too.
I found it very interesting because I always brought lunch boxes in the past, but now it is more easier.
We can eat it warm and we can go for seconds.
When we finish eating we put our trays back into our trolley.

 

 

 

 

 

日本の学校のお昼はおもしろい。県や都によって、お弁当かきゅうしょくか、になっているらしい。でも東京のほとんどはきゅうしょくだ。みんなで、料理を配ったりする当番はあるけど、みんなでこうたいで当番をして、お昼を食べる。今まではずっとお弁当を持って行っていたけど、きゅうしょくだと毎日もっていかなくていいからラクだ。

どうやってランチをとるかというと、６人づつが６個の机に横にならんで食べる。

食べたあとは、トレーを戻して、カートにお皿やおはしをもどす。

Today my mother and I went to a clothes store. We looked around and hey, I found a really great bargain. It was a fluffy jacket and it certainly with a inside sweater and it also came with a scarf and gloves! It was only for 2000 yen. ( About 20 dollars ) I was about to buy it then suddenly a tag has fallen down it was a tag for the sweater and now a tag for the and scarf has also shown their tags too. I was very shocked and very disappointed. Now the real total of that cost is 6000yen!!!. I felt something like I was fooled!

 

 

 

 

 

 

今日おかあさんと、ファッションのお店に行った。見まわしたら、あちこちに「セール」の貼り紙が。かわいい、手ざわりもよいジャケットが中のセーターとスカーフ、手袋もセットで！それがたったの２０００円だって。気に入って、おかあさんも賛成し、買おうとしたら、ジャケットだけじゃなくて、手袋にも、スカーフにも、それぞれ値札がついている！すごいショックだった。３つセットだと思ったのに、それぞれの値札を足したら６０００円になっちゃうよ。なんか、だまされた感じ！

A car.
Today I built a car with screw drivers and that with an instructions book.
It is electric but it isn’t remote control so It does not listen and just bumps into wall at times.
I don`t have a track but if I get on e it is easier because it was a little wheels on the side so it is very easy to turn.
It was challenging but it was fun making it and the car moves really fast so I am looking forward to a track.
I think it is a little similar to Lego maybe.

 

 

 

 

 

このまえ、おもちゃ屋さんで、車のモデルを組み立てるものをかってもらった。1番かっこいいタイプをえらんだつもりだけど、作り方をみて作ってみた。くろうしたところはきれいにくみたてるところで、できあがって、電池（でんち）がはいらないかと思った。でも動いたよ！それでうごいたら、はやいし、かっこいい。

レゴブロックに似ている感じもした。

ところが、どこでもはしっちゃうので、どうろ、かレールがほしいなあと思っている。今度はそれをさがしにいこう。

 

I had always thought folding and creating Origami was easy.
Today I started to make a Swan.
First folding was easy but it was surprisingly difficult, when I looked the instructions book the folding was very detailed.
Few hours later I had finished making Origami!!!!!
Yay I like my folded animals.

I made lots!

 

 

 

 

 

折り紙の機会があったので、簡単と思って折った。なんか全然うまくいかなかったけど、だんだんできた。たくさん作ったよ！

 

Last Thursday we had a singing concert.
It was our whole school whom participates and sang lots of songs.
We had Brass Bands played their concerts and we sang after.
The theme was Kizuna in English it is called “The Bond”
I thought it was a very memorable song as I sang along with the others.
Our school doesn’t have a indoor gym so we sang at a public hall which had 1200 seats so enough for most parents and family’s can have their bottoms sat.
I enjoyed the day it was sunny and warm.
Sadly we did not win the junior high school 3rd graders has won a little competition!

As our principal said, ” You do not think or aim to get the 1st prize, that’s ok. Please aim your goal to do your 100% best. or even 120% best. That’s more important rather than prize.”

We had have a lot of practice in the class hours and after class hours. I was singing in English then I learn some Japanese phrase after. It will be one of our super memory. Competition, but also ties each of our class. We went to the hall in town rather than have it our school. It was very big and wide space. I was nervous, every child was nervous. We DID WELL!

Actually some of us moved after the concert and prize　giving then cried.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

この前の木曜日に合唱コンクールがあった。　学校全体1年生から3年生までみんなだ。僕たちのクラスの歌はとても印象的で「絆」という歌。残念ながら３位だったけど。

校長先生がお話された「1位をとれなくてもいい。君たちが、練習してきたことをフルに、１００％、１２０％出し切ってがんばってください」。

僕たちはクラスでも放課後もたくさんたくさんの時間を練習した。学校でなく町の大きなホールでやったのでみんな緊張したよ。よくやった！ぼくにとってもすばらしいけいけんの１つになるだろう。ほんと、表彰式のあと、感動で泣き出す人たちも何人かいた。
